Ready for a New Challenge? Join Our Q3 Challenge and Explore New Sports!

Hey Nerve Family,

We’re thrilled to announce our exciting Quarter 3 Challenge at Nerve! This challenge, running from July through September, is all about embracing the CrossFit philosophy of "regularly learning and playing new sports." We’re encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and apply your CrossFit training to different activities.

Wrapping Up Q2: Retesting the Mile Run and Unbroken Pull-Ups

Before we dive into the new challenge, let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made in Quarter 2! On Monday, July 1st, we’ll be retesting our one-mile run and unbroken pull-ups during class. This is a great opportunity to see how far you’ve come and to set a benchmark for future progress. Be sure to attend class and give it your all!

Introducing the Q3 Challenge: Explore New Sports

The Q3 Challenge invites you to sign up for a sport or activity you’ve never tried before. Whether it’s participating in a CrossFit competition, learning to play Pickleball, running a 5k, or any other new endeavor, the goal is to explore and enjoy new experiences while leveraging the fitness foundation you’ve built at our gym.

Why Participate?

  1. Enhance Your Fitness: Trying new sports can help you develop new skills, improve your overall fitness, and break through plateaus.
  2. Boost Motivation: Stepping out of your routine can reignite your passion for fitness and provide fresh motivation.
  3. Build Community: Join fellow members in this adventure, share your experiences, and support each other along the way.
  4. Personal Growth: Embrace the challenge, build confidence, and discover new interests and hobbies.

How to Get Started:

  1. Choose Your Activity: Pick a sport or event that excites you but that you’ve never done before. Need ideas? Consider activities like a local 5k, a new martial arts class, or even rock climbing.
  2. Sign Up: Commit to the activity by signing up for classes, events, or competitions.
  3. Train and Prepare: Use your CrossFit training as your primary preparation method. Our workouts build the strength, endurance, and agility needed for almost any sport. Feel free to add sport-specific training to complement your regular gym sessions.
  4. Share Your Journey: Keep us posted on your progress! Share updates, photos, and stories with our community to inspire others and build camaraderie.

Our coaches are ready to support you every step of the way. Whether you need advice on training, tips for your new sport, or just some encouragement, we’re here for you. We’ll also be organizing group training sessions and events to help you prepare and stay motivated.
